Critical thinking and its relationship with job performance in a plastic processing company

Abstract
The present investigation entitled: Critical thinking and its relationship with work performance in a plastic processing company, had the objective of analyzing the relationship of critical thinking with the work performance of the workers of a plastic processing company; for this, the following methodology was used: basic, quantitative, descriptive-correlational, transversal, with a survey for each variable, using the Likert scale with five valuations, whose result was categorized in three levels: low, medium and high. The population was 160 workers, but applying the exclusion criteria, they remained at 22 and the sample of 22, equal to the population. Regarding the results, the relationship between the variables of critical thinking and work performance was obtained; in the first case: medium level 72.7%, high level 13.6% and low level 13.6%; while for the second case: medium level 81.8% and high level 18.2%. Thus, it was concluded that since there is a significant relationship between critical thinking and work performance in the plastic processing company, the more critical thinking is enhanced, the better the workers' performance will be.
